AFG, the Allied Fs Group is a freeware flightsim developer group, based around Microsoft FlightSimulator versions 2000 and newer. The Group was founded in late August 2000, when Håkon Søreide and Sverre Kvåle decided to put forward a site for Håkon's aircraft. The initial group name was AFD. Allied fs Design Group. PFD, Precision Design Group with Ian Grant and Patrick Wink was asked to join. Later FSDG, Flightsim Design Group also joined. After this the name AFG was selected as it better reflects the group.
